Miami Heat 2024 NBA Draft Picks
The Miami Heat have two selections in the 2024 NBA Draft. They are just outside of the lottery at no. 15 overall in the first round.
Miami Heat Select at No. 15 in 1st Round
The Heat will select at number 15 overall in the first round and just outside of the lottery which is picks 1-14. They could target an athletic guard like Isaiah Collier out of USC. Collier averaged 16.3 points and 4.3 assists while making the PAC-12 All-Freshman team this past season.
The Heat haven’t had a top-10 pick since 2015 when they selected Justise Winslow out of Duke. Before that, you have to go back to 2008 for a top 5 pick when they selected Michael Beasley from Kansas State at number 2 overall. Miami has never had the number-one pick in franchise history and has selected in the top 10 just 9 times since joining the league in 1988.
Heat Future Draft Selections
The Heat do not have much to work with in terms of draft picks in the coming years. Their 2025 1st round pick was traded to Oklahoma City but is protected 1-14 so they will likely get that pick back based on how the Thunder have developed into a playoff team. Check out the team’s current future picks.
