The NFL offseason is upon us, and teams will begin working to craft their 2023 rosters in the coming months. In this series of offseason previews, we will look at what each team has to work with and their biggest needs. Today we continue with the Philadelphia Eagles offseason preview.

2022 Summary
Just about everything went right for the Eagles in 2022. Jalen Hurts went from question mark to MVP-candidate and top-five quarterback in the NFL. Philadelphia’s pass rush was historically good. A.J. Brown was worth every penny spent on draft day last year.
The only thing that didn’t go right was their Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs earlier last month. Still, the 14-win Eagles had a dream season and won the NFC East and the NFC Championship.
Philadelphia will be back, especially with Jalen Hurts under center.

Offseason Outlook
Despite losing the Super Bowl to the Chiefs last season, the Eagles had arguably the best roster in the NFL. Philadelphia’s roster was near perfect, but keeping it together will be the tricky task that faces GM Howie Roseman this offseason.
Of that vaunted pass rush, names like Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Javon Hargrave, and Linval Joseph are all set to become free agents. Safeties Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps will also be free agents, as will cornerback James Bradberry. Philadelphia is also set to lose running back Miles Sanders to free agency.
The Eagles have $6.3 million in cap space and two first-round picks.
