Most quarterback-needy teams don’t get the chance to pick near the top of the draft in a year with multiple viable quarterback options on the board, so while trading down and addressing the plethora of needs on this roster, I think they’ll stay at pick number 3 and take their favorite quarterback option.

His ability to make plays off-script aligns with the Patriots’ desire for a dynamic offensive weapon at the helm.
However, Maye isn’t without his flaws. Concerns about his decision-making under duress exist, and his completion percentage against elite competition could be a point of contention. He’ll need to refine his pocket awareness and footwork to thrive in the NFL. He has some “hero ball” on his tape, mostly due to the sub-par talent level of the skill position players around him last season.
