Giancarlo Stanton must have heard about Peter O’Brien setting the new hardest-hit-homer record, because he just took it out on a baseball.
We don’t have exit velocity for this Stanton blast, but he took a Tommy Milone pitch out of the park, over a building outside the park, and, presumably, out of the zip code:

Is there a more fun homer out there right now than when Stanton gets ahold of one? Even the left fielder was in awe (watch again and check him out).
Although there’s no distance for the blast, Marlins President David Samson says he can’t remember a ball ever clearing that building in his 17 Spring Trainings at the park.
