How About a Chance to Win Some Money Playing Free Fantasy Football This Weekend?

You once again have the opportunity to (1) win cash, (2) by playing a free game, and (3) help support Bleacher Nation. Sweet, huh? Your attention is appreciated.

Bleacher Nation has been given the opportunity to host a one-day FREE fantasy football contest through DraftStreet.com, this Sunday, December 8. That’s right, I said FOOTBALL. It is, after all, football season, and BN has entered that universe.

The best part? The total payout for this free contest is $500 – and 50 people win cash. And, by participating, you’re supporting Bleacher Nation – which would be all kinds of awesome. Think of it this way: you get 365 days of free content from me, and in return, I ask only that you sign up for a free, cash-winning fantasy football contest. Sounds fair to me.

Ok. So what is the contest?

It’s a one-day fantasy football showdown (and I say showdown, because you better believe I’m playing, too) based on NFL games this week (excluding the top-notch Houston/Jacksonville game last night). We do these throughout the baseball season, and now we get to have a blast with football.

Here’s how you play: First, sign up for free at DraftStreet. It’s easy. Then, “join the league,” and put together your team. It is a salary cap style league this time around. The way it works is you’ve got to fill out a roster, and you’ve got a certain amount of cash to work with. You can pick the superstar if you want, but he might cost you a huge chunk of your budget. So choose your players wisely…

The contest runs starting with Sunday’s 1pm ET games, so you just have to sign up and have your team set by then.

Sign up now for free. Build a team (you can adjust your roster up until the games start on Sunday). Then check out the scoreboard when the games start on Sunday, December 8, and watch your team win you cash. Or watch my team destroy yours. It’s that easy, and it is a lot fun.

The sooner you sign up, the more time you’ll have to tinker with your lineup, which is a big part of what makes this so much fun. Just putting it out there. So, you know, sign up today.

*Note: residents of some States are not eligible to play, so if you’re blocked out for that reason, my most humble apologies.
