The long wait is finally over! Here’s our coverage of the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
I’m currently at a function for my day job, but I should be camped in front of a TV and ready to go by 8 P.M. (Truly, the American Dream.)
Feel free to discuss proceedings in the comments, and I’ll be updating this post with Bear-centric pieces of news.
Enjoy!
Update:
The pick is in, and it’s Kyle Fuller, a cornerback from Virginia Tech. Obviously the Bears are thin in the secondary, and its possible that Fuller moves to safety. If that is what Phil Emery has in mind, that would mean the Bears took Fuller over the top safety prospects.
But Fuller is highly rated, and it will be interesting to see how he fits on the roster for 2014. More analysis to come.
