Bleacher Nation’s fantasy baseball partner DraftStreet is putting on an awesome contest this week, but you have to get in now if you want to play for the rest of the week.
That’s because it’s a SURVIVOR contest, which will work like this: you’ll pick a team of eight players from tonight’s games. That team will rack you up points, and, if you score in the top 50% of the league, you move on to Wednesday (see how it’s a survivor thing?). You pick a new team based on Wednesday’s games. If you score in the top 50% of that one, you move on to Thursday. It proceeds that way until Friday, when you’ll be playing for the $50,000 in cash (top score gets $10,000, second place gets $6,000, third place gets $4,000, fourth place gets $2,500, and on down the line – everyone who makes it to Friday wins cash).
So, to sum up: you’ve got to sign up and play in tonight’s first round if you want to try and survive. All you’ve got to do is be better than average in the league each day, and you’ll win cash on Friday. Pretty exciting from where I sit. The games start at 6pm CT.
