Week 11 Pre-Gamin’: Lions at Bears – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Here is a not-so-fun fact: Soldier Field has watched the Detroit Lions walk off as winners in seven of the last eight games played in the rivalry grudge match against the Chicago Bears.

Did we mention Soldier Field is the home of the Bears?

So much for home-field advantage.

The Bears are looking to draw closer to .500 against a Lions team that is in the thick of a playoff hunt. Detroit is one of four teams with a 5-4 record, so a win against Chicago would probably do wonders for their postseason dreams. Of course, a win for the Bears would lift the spirits of a team with a coach on the hot seat (who just received a vote of confidence) that blew a golden opportunity against a Green Bay Packers team without Aaron Rodgers and a handful of other injured playmakers.

As it stands, the Bears are one of seven teams with six losses and are jockeying for position to land a top-10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Hopefully, the Bears don’t play like a team looking forward to the offseason.
