With the defense doing much of the heavy lifting, the Chicago Bears offense was in search of some much-needed breathing room. And it came in the form of Anthony Miller’s first regular season touchdown reception:

An 11-play, 66-yard drive ended with the Bears highlighting one of the things Mitch Trubisky does best. Rolling to the left, Trubisky dropped a dart to Miller in a place where only his receiver could catch it. It’s the type of throw Trubisky missed out on during the first half, so it’s encouraging to see QB1 make some adjustments and make a big play when his team needed it the most.
The touchdown opened up the second-half scoring and gave the Bears a two-touchdown lead and an example of what this group can do when it’s fully operational.
