Oh yeah, there’s a game tonight.
After the hullabaloo of this morning, with the Brent Seabrook retirement and all, the Chicago Blackhawks get ready for their rematch against the Tampa Bay Lightning after dropping a 3-2 buzzer-beating overtime loss to the defending Stanley Cup champions last night. The Blackhawks are still in a playoff position in the Central Division with 29 points and a .604 points percentage. They are 0-2-1 against the Lightning this season, but played their best game against them last night by a wide margin. Chicago is 1-0-1 this season in the second game of back-to-back sets.

What To Watch For
• Alex DeBrincat extended his points streak to a season-high seven games last night with a goal in the second period. His 12th goal of the season was also his 99th in his NHL career and his 199th point in his NHL career. Be on milestone watch for DeBrincat, who could become the 14th player in Blackhawks history to debut with the team and need 300 or fewer career games to hit 100 goals. DeBrincat has 254 games played with the Blackhawks.
• Malcolm Subban starts for the Blackhawks tonight. Subban is 3-2-1 this season with a .916 save percentage and a 2.60 GAA. He had a three-game win streak snapped in his last start, a 5-3 loss to the Red Wings on February 27. This will be a revenge game for Subban, who started the season-opener against the Lightning in a 5-1 loss on January 13
• David Kämpf has seen a significant increase in his ice-time over the past few games. Last night, he played 17:16 minutes which ranked fourth among forwards behind only DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, and Pius Suter. Kämpf leads the Blackhawks in faceoff percentage this season, winning 53.7% of his draws. He and Carl Söderberg are the only two centers who are at or above 50% at the dot this season for Chicago.
