We’re about 1/10th of the way through the season, which is early, but the Cubs don’t look like much of a contender so far. Hell, they don’t look like a team that has a reasonable chance to sniff .500 all year. It was to be expected, but it’s still disappointing.
Scott Feldman returns to the rotation today after a brief hiatus. He’s looking for his first good start of the year, and I really hope he gets it today. The Cubs could stand for him to get on a roll, together with the rest of the rotation. It’s the one bright spot right now.
