BOOM! Javy Baez Sends His SECOND Homer of the Night Out to Left!

In the bottom of the second inning, Willson Contreras gave the Cubs the lead on a massive (no, seriously) homer off the video board in left field. And then, two batters later, Javy Baez sent a solo shot out to left, himself.

Well, three innings later, Baez stepped up to the plate for the second time of the game and, guess what, he launched another dinger:

Baez was 0-20 with just two walks in the 2017 postseason before tonight, but now, he can add two homers to his playoff line. Oh and although his first one was absolutely rocked, this one traveled just 380 feet and left the bat at just 96 MPH. It wasn’t exactly a cheapy, but Baez can probably thank the wind next time he sees it.

Also, look at how low this pitch was:

Apparently, it was very low, relatively speaking:

It’s still only 3-1, but the Cubs are swinging it well and have knocked starter Alex Wood from the game. Let’s see if they can keep it going.
