Bulls Summer League Schedule Announced (Which Means Coby White Time)!

Guess what? You know how the NBA Finals ended just last week?

Well, we get to watch basketball again in only two weeks.

The NBA is truly becoming a year-long sport. Whether we are keeping up with the latest burner account scandals or arguing over who won a blockbuster trade, it never quite feels like the NBA season ever comes to an end. And the growing popularity of the Summer League has only added to all this commotion.

The Bulls just drafted point guard Coby White and center Daniel Gafford last night, and in only a fortnight (no, not the one the kids are into), we will get to watch both take the court in a Bulls (kinda) uniform!

In case you’re unaware of how the Vegas Summer League works, each team will play four games before the top-8 teams move on to a “playoffs.” Fun fact: in 2016 the Bulls actually won the Summer League Championship thanks to a buzzer-beater bucket by Denzel Valentine.

You see how insane the end of that game was? Yeah, now you can see why the Summer League has gained a lot of traction. A bunch guys are on the court trying to prove themselves as worthy of being on an NBA roster, so, in short, it’s awesome.

The Bulls matching up with the Cavaliers and Pelicans should make for some fun basketball. The Cavs added No. 2-ranked point guard Darius Garland who will most likely be seeing his first action during a live game since going down with a knee injury in November. As for the Pelicans, we should be getting the Zion Williamson show… so how could you not watch? Also, New Orleans added top-ranked center, Jaxson Hayes, as well.

With the Bulls adding the additions of White and Gafford, who both can go absolutely off for some highlight-making plays, I recommend you plan to tune into at least a couple of these games. Not to mention, I’m sure the Bulls will have a couple of other interesting prospects on the roster to keep an eye out for.
