How bad does an error have to be to make a broadcaster swear, live on the air? Probably pretty bad!
I don’t know if this is the baseline threshold, but it certainly did the trick, as the local broadcast crew for the Cleveland Guardians couldn’t believe the team’s good fortune while playing the White Sox:

White Sox outfielder Gavin Sheets dropped a routine ball right at him, which not only allowed the ball to sneak by and the run to sneak in, but also allowed an expletive to sneak by the censor. I would criticize, but I’m laughing way too hard.
At least Sheets, for his part, made up for the error in the bottom of the frame with a rocket, three-run homer:

I’d imagine the Cleveland broadcast team might’ve dropped some expletives on that one, but for different reasons. And the producer probably managed to get to the dump button in time.
