DeShone Kizer was just what the doctor ordered for a Chicago Bears team struggling to force turnovers.
Kizer, who entered Sunday with a league-leading 19’interceptions just added another one to his list:

We figured Kizer would 1) target wide receiver Josh Gordon early and often and 2) would throw at cornerback Kyle Fuller, who is among the most targeted defensive backs in the league. Fuller takes Round 1 by hauling in Kizer’s 20th interception — which also counts as the 26th turnover for the rookie signal caller who played his college ball at Notre Dame.
It’s the latest big play for Fuller, who is having a remarkable comeback year one season removed from missing the entire 2016 season because he couldn’t recover from knee surgery. In a year where the Bears signed two cornerbacks in free agency and bumped Fuller down the depth chart, the former first-round pick has responded in a big way.
Because of an injury to Prince Amukamara, Fuller began the year in the starting lineup. And because Marcus Cooper has been largely ineffective, Fuller has remained in the starting lineup. If Fuller can finish strong, it will help his case for a big contract if/when he hits free agency.
