I guess the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t believers in the old childhood rhyme “secrets, secrets are no fun, secrets, secrets are for everyone” now, do they:
Dirk Koetter says he’s talked to Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston and they know what the plan is for Sunday in Chicago but he won’t disclose it publicly.

So everyone but the Bears know what the plan will be for Sunday. Cool. Very cool.
At least Buccaneers Head Coach Dirk Koetter stayed true to his word when he said he wanted to speak to Jameis Winston before he made a public statement about the state of the position moving forward. But while it’s nice to see people say something, then follow through on it, I’d still like to know what’s going on with the other side of the football equation. Because while Koetter sounded like a coach who was leaning toward Ryan Fitzpatrick’s hot hand, it’s not as if he came out with a firm commitment one way or another after the team’s loss to the Steelers on Monday Night Football.
Ultimately, mum is the word out of Bucs camp as Koetter offered up a whole lotta nothing regarding the team’s starting quarterback plans for Week 4 against the Bears. It’s possible that the allocation of practice reps could give us a clue into what Tampa Bay’s intentions are for the position. In either case, I expect Khalil Mack and friends to be ready to bring down whoever is under center for the Buccaneers on Sunday.
