It hasn’t been a pretty passing game for Mitch Trubisky, but his first passing touchdown has given the Chicago Bears new life in the second half:

Nothing like opening the second half with a touchdown drive to re-establish your presence in the ballgame.
Cohen’s touchdown reception came a few plays after a Jordan Howard 1-yard touchdown plunge was wiped off the board because of an illegal formation penalty. So if you own one player and not the other in fantasy football, your emotions are swinging. And it wouldn’t have been possible with this near touchdown run by Trubisky:

Making defenders miss and gaining all sorts of yards 🔥🔥🔥

Trubisky is just 10 of 23 for 114 passing yards and a touchdown, but he has thrown two passes in the end zone that should have been picked off. HOWEVER, it’s the plays he has made with his legs have helped make up for the deficiencies with his throws and elsewhere. Make no mistake, the Bears have a lead because of Trubisky’s athleticism. They’ll need more as this game heads down the stretch at Soldier Field
