James Daniels (Pectoral Injury) Leaves Early, Is Questionable to Return

Chicago Bears

The Bears’ lead was short-lived as the Buccaneers scored a field goal on their first possession of the third quarter.

And to further muck things up for Chicago, there’s some bad news on the injury front:

FOX NFL sideline reporter Kristina Pink said on the broadcast that left guard James Daniels left for the locker room after a trip to the medical tent. The injury has since been revealed as a pectoral. Daniels’ return is questionable.

Losing Daniels for any amount of time would be a tough blow. The Iowa product looked to be coming into his own as a third-year starter. And his replacement, Alex Bars, gave up a sack on his first pass-blocking rep. So, yeah, we’ll follow this and share more as soon as it becomes available. In any case, get well soon Mr. Daniels.
