David Montgomery’s 4-yard plunge cut the Bears deficit against the Buccaneers to 13-7. The drive featured some nifty passing from Nick Foles, who went on a heater as he completed 7 straight passes to get the team within striking distance. Then, the team left it up to Montgomery to clean it up.
The 10-play, 75-yard drive was a much needed jolt of life for an offense that didn’t spend much time on the field in the first half. Not like they did anything great with the ball when they had it. Nevertheless, Chicago has new life.
