The Bears secondary has been a strength for the last few years, but adding rookie Jaylon Johnson to the mix has bolstered the group’s excellence.
Unfortunately, Johnson went down in the second half with an injury and his return is up in the air:

The Bears announced Johnson is questionable to return because of a shoulder injury. It’s a vague designation and description, to be sure. But Johnson has had surgeries on both of his shoulders — including one this past March to repair a torn right labrum. Johnson played through the injury in college, putting up a season in which he earned All-American honors. Nevertheless, seeing Johnson go down with an injury to that particular body part makes me nervous. So we’ll keep an eye on his status moving forward.
Frankly, Johnson should probably sit the rest of this one out. The Bears have a 36-7 lead in the fourth quarter. No need to risk injuring a key cog in a one-sided affair.
