An awful story out of Arizona, where Michael Richardson, an All-Pro cornerback in 1986 and a member of the Super Bowl winner in 1985, has reportedly been arrested for murder.
Richardson, 59, was taken into custody after the Tuesday shooting death of 47-year-old Ronald Lee:

Richardson played for the Bears from 1983 to 1988, before finishing his career with a season in San Francisco in 1989. The Orange County Register in 2008 wrote about Richardson’s “slow, long fall” since then, chronicling troubles and arrests for a guy who’d become known nationally as “L.A. Mike” in the Super Bowl Shuffle video.
More details as they become available. Thoughts go out to the victim’s family and friends, and anyone else impacted by his death.
