Ya think this city was starved for a quarterback to love?
Justin Fields wasn’t selected until the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but don’t tell us, Chicagoans, that. On a record breaking night for the online merchandise retailer, Fanatics, Fields jerseys were outsold ONLY by the long-time consensus No. 1 pick in the draft, QB Trevor Lawrence.
Fanatics had its biggest Draft night in its history last night.
Trevor Lawrence broke the record for the most jerseys sold on the first night, doubled up last year's record holder Joe Burrow.

LOL. I Love you, Chicago.
Fanatics has a 30% off sale right now, so if you haven’t gone and gotten your Fields gear, you can right here (supporting Bleacher Nation in the process). But setting that aside, what an incredible achievement, right?
Obviously, quarterbacks are always going to sell more jerseys than any other position on the field – and, again, this city wants one as badly as any team out there – but it’s not like Fields was the only quarterback taken in the draft. THREE other QBs were selected before him, with each of the first three picks (Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance).
And yet only Lawrence was able to sell more jerseys than the Bears new QB. Amazing.

I’ve never seen this city in such agreement over anything other than our love for giardiniera, Italian Beefs, or The Blues Brothers.
And, hey, if that type of gear isn’t your cup of tea, might I suggest an Obvious Shirt. I have it on good authority that OS has sold a LOT of these already. So get one before they sell out.
