Get ready to see the Chicago Bears defense without its most impactful player:
Sources: The #Bears are placing All-Pro pass-rusher Khalil Mack on Injured Reserve to have season-ending foot surgery.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports Mack will have surgery to repair the foot problem that has been limiting him throughout the year. Most recently, Mack has been trying to rest up after playing through the injury. Mack had 6 sacks in 7 games. And when healthy, he was looking like vintage Mack who was going to finish with 10+ sacks, double digits in QB hits, a fair number of tackles-for-loss, and numerous highlight-reel plays.
But the foot injury is apparently serious enough to sideline him for the rest of the season. And, with that, the Bears are without an all-world defender. Ugh.
