Even after a busy week ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline, there is no rest for Ryan Poles as he continues to go about building the Chicago Bears in his vision.
Next stop: Evanston and the campus of Northwestern University. That’s where the Ohio State Buckeyes will play the Wildcats. and where he’ll see a ton of pro prospects. And if you’re looking for potential Bears fits, there will be no shortage of talent on display.

All in all, that is six top-50 prospects from Dane Brugler’s midseason update at The Athletic. And with Northwestern’s campus being just down the road from Halas Hall, this makes for a convenient scouting trip for Poles.
Here’s hoping the first-year Bears GM is taking copious notes.
