The Chicago Blackhawks have a long history of classic sweater designs. Their most recent Reverse Retro sweaters have garnered mostly positive reviews after their first displays on the ice on Sunday against the Red Wings. Another recent specialty sweater will get another go around in the rotation this season as the Blackhawks will wear their 2019 Winter Classic sweaters three times through the remainder of the season.

The Blackhawks will wear the 1926-35 era Black and White striped sweaters for three consecutive home games this season. First on Tuesday, April 27 against the Tampa Bay Lightning and then on Thursday, April 29 and Saturday, May 1 against the Florida Panthers.

They just look great.
My personal favorite throwback sweaters will always be the 2009 Winter Classic design worn at Wrigley Field.

Coming in second would be the 2019 Winter Classic designs, and a third-place goes to the 2014 Stadium Series design.

Yeah, I’m a sucker for a good black-on-black setup for the Blackhawks.
