Today is the release day for EA Sports’ NHL22, their latest in the NHL franchise of games. One of the major features in NHL22 this year is the new addition of the ‘X-Factors’ a system of skills and ratings that apply to a number of NHL superstars that give them unique abilities on the ice that help make them standout from the rest of the league.
The Chicago Blackhawks have four players that will feature ‘X-Factor’ abilities in NHL22, with Patrick Kane, Marc-AndrĂ© Fleury, Seth Jones, and Alex DeBrincat receiving a number of unique skills in this year’s game. With the release of the game today, all four (and other NHL stars) reacted to their ratings and abilities alongside NHL YouTuber Andrew ‘Nasher’ Telfer:

Patrick Kane wants his overall rating to continue to stay the same as he gets older and further into his career, which I don’t think will be a problem for him. While Alex DeBrincat thinks his 88 overall rating is actually “a bit high.” So humble. Hard to argue with the ratings for the stars of the Blackhawks squad. I’ll be interested to see how the rest of the team fares when I open the new release of NHL22 later today.
