What To Watch For

•   Isaak Phillips will make his NHL debut tonight for the Chicago Blackhawks after being recalled from Rockford on Thursday afternoon. Phillips, 20, has tallied a pair of assists in four games this season with Rockford. The 20-year-old defenseman leads all IceHogs defensemen in points and assists this season. Phillips replaces Ian Mitchell, who was assigned to Rockford after playing limited minutes in two games with the Blackhawks last week.

•   Kevin Lankinen is back in net for the Blackhawks tonight. Lankinen will make his fourth start in eight games for the Blackhawks and has a 2.91 GAA and a .899 save percentage in three starts and four appearances (entered the Pittsburgh game for Marc-André Fleury midway through the first period). Lankinen allowed three goals in a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night. Fleury will start tomorrow night in St. Louis, according to head coach Jeremy Colliton.

• Hurricanes’ netminder Fredrick Andersen will have the night off for Carolina, which is great news considering Andersen is 5-0-0 this season with a 1.33 GAA and a .956 save percentage in five starts for the Hurricanes. Anderson recorded a shutout over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night, his first of the season, and hasn’t allowed more than one goal in any game since the Canes season-opener against the Nashville Predators on October 16. Antti Raanta will make his first start of the season for Carolina tonight against his first team, the Chicago Blackhawks. Raanta started 11 games for the Coyotes last season and posted a 3.36 GAA.
