The Chicago Blackhawks continue their AHL/NHL shuffle, re-assigning defenseman Isaak Phillips and forward Josiah Slavin to the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday evening after Chicago’s loss to St. Louis (AHL transaction log).

Both Slavin and Phillips were recalled from Rockford on Saturday to replace Jakub Galvas and Lukas Reichel, who played for the Blackhawks on Friday night. Slavin (14:37) and Phillips (16:47) both got their fair share of ice time in the Blackhawks’ loss to the Blues, but neither recorded a point.
Slavin has played 15 games for the Blackhawks this season, and Phillips’ most recent appearance with Chicago this weekend was his fourth game of the season.
