Pre-Gamin’: Blackhawks vs Golden Knights (7:30 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread, More

Chicago Blackhawks

The Vegas Golden Knights come to town tonight as two old pals Luke Richardson and Bruce Cassidy square off on opposite benches tonight at the United Center.

If you missed it earlier, Richardson and Cassidy have a couple of friends in town tonight, and one of them is going to be making a life-saving gesture for another friend in the near future.

Injury Report

Chicago Blackhawks

Alex Stalock is now the only guy left on IR.

Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights have a pretty lengthy injury report right now that includes Jack Eichel (phew! but also crappy for my fantasy hockey team), Alex Pietrangelo, and Shea Theodore among others. Check out the full injury report here.

What to Watch For

  • Despite the Golden Knights coming into town pretty banged up and without Jack Eichel among others, Vegas has been one of the better teams in the league this season. Vegas is fourth in points (43) and leads the Pacific Division.
  • Vegas’ power play ranks 12th in the NHL, scoring at a 23.6 percent clip while the Blackhawks PK unit is near the bottom of the league at 25th, allowing 73.3 percent of opponents man-advantages to be cashed in upon.
  • The Blackhawks are 3-2-2 against the Golden Knights since the start of the 2019-20 season and have taken points in each of their last three games against Vegas at the United Center. Patrick Kane has 11 career points against Vegas.
