Marc-André Fleury Throws Paper, Loses To Young Blackhawks Fan

Chicago Blackhawks

With the Minnesota Wild in town for the Blackhawks’ 80th game of the season, our old friend and internationally loved goaltender Marc-André Fleury was here. He wasn’t starting for the Wild, but he’s still one of the most appreciated — adored — players in the NHL.

The cameras caught him rolling some paper-rock-scissors with a few young fans in the front row while the Wild were warming up. He tried to flip them a puck as payment for the loss, but couldn’t navigate the net.

Fleury is a sure-fire, first ballot Hall of Famers and really is one of the greats in professional sports. He appeared in 45 games for the Blackhawks last year — 45 of his 985 career appearances entering Monday night. But Blackhawks fans are all Fleury fans still.
