Now that the NHL’s 2023-24 regular season is in the books, we have the final standings in official form. Which means we also know the odds of the non-playoff teams in the 2024 NHL Draft Lottery. As a reminder: teams can only move up 10 spots. And, as of a 2021 lottery rule change, a team cannot win the lottery more than twice in a five-year span (starting with the 2022 lottery). Also please note that, unless Pittsburgh wins the lottery and moves into the top ten overall, their first-round pick will transfer to San Jose.
Here are the final odds of the teams in the lottery of moving up/down to their respective picks.
