Chicago Bulls

It’s about to be 1998 all over again for Chicago Bulls fans.

NBC Sports Chicago announced it will carry every playoff game from the team’s thrilling 1998 championship season. That’s 21 total games featuring Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, Ron Harper, Phil Jackson, Steve Kerr, Jud Buecheler, Jack Haley, Bill Wennington, and all of your other favorites from the squad.

Details from NBC Sports Chicago Senior Director of Communications Jeff Nuich:

I can’t wait to see the Bulls-Nets sweep job. The original Charlotte Hornets with Muggsy Bogues, Dell Curry, and Vlade Divac should be a treat. And I’m going to enjoy every moment of beating Reggie Miller and the Pacers again as if I was 12-year-old all over again. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been this pumped up about watching Bulls basketball on a nightly basis. But re-living the 1998 championship run is just what I need right now.

Between the timing coinciding with the launch of ESPN’s “Last Dance” mini-series documentary and the lack of basketball due to the NBA pressing pause due to COVID-19, the timing is right for this to re-live this moment.
