The Chicago Bulls city edition jerseys have always been a contentious topic among the fan base, but I think the team’s latest threads may draw near-universal praise.
The best team in years deserves arguably the best alternate jersey in years, and this fresh red look with the white Chicago script might be just that. According to the team’s announcement, the jersey and shorts also feature hints of Bulls jerseys throughout the years in honor of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary.
Where we’ve been has made who we are.

For example, the Bulls mainly black and white logo coloring on the shorts mimics the original 1966 apparel, while the side taping and number set are meant to replicate the team’s 70s look. For a closer sneak peek at both, as well as other easter eggs, make sure to check out the team’s page here.

While last season’s city edition choice grew on me, there is no question this feels like the most “Bulls” style yet. We are all suckers for that Chicago cursive, but the rest of the uniform does a fantastic job of capturing this franchise’s history in one clean look.
If you ask me, it’s easily one of the best new editions in the league.
