The shorthanded Bulls just can’t seem to catch a break.
In the 1st quarter of Monday night’s game against the Houston Rockets, Alex Caruso could be seen heading to the locker room. Shortly after the 2nd quarter got underway, the Bulls officially announced that Caruso would not return with a left foot sprain.

Caruso walked under his own power to the locker room, and there was no noticeable instance on the court where he seemed to suffer the injury. The hope is that the Bulls decision to bench him for the night is more precautionary than anything, but it never feels great when a player has to exit the game completely.
We’ll see what Donovan has to say after the game. For a guy just coming off a lingering hamstring injury, though, this news stinks.
