DeMar DeRozan said goodbye to 2021 in only the way he can.
In a back-and-forth affair against the Indiana Pacers that started at 2:00 p.m. on a Friday, it was clear the Bulls were searching for energy. They failed to look like the same kind of dominant team we’ve seen over the past five games, struggling to find their rhythm on the offensive end and repeatedly failing to grab big-time rebound after big-time rebound.
However, with the game still within reach, the Bulls called upon Mr. 4th quarter to do what he does best. DeRozan dropped 10 points in the final frame to set the Bulls up to have the ball in their hand with the game on the line. As the final seconds ticked off, DeRozan hopped off one foot from behind the arc and sank the buzzer-beater.
Watch it … and then watch it until midnight.

I know … holy sh*t.
I don’t care who it came against nor when it happened in the season, Bulls fans will remember this shot for a long time. Bulls fans will also never forget the season DeMar DeRozan is putting together.
What a special player and what a special team.
HAPPY FREAKIN’ NEW YEAR!
