Enhanced Box Score: Bulls 132, Warriors 118 – January 15

I’m currently in the Big Apple to celebrate a friend’s wedding, so I can’t sit here and pretend I watched this game.

I had to keep up via some quickly tweeted highlights and box score watching via the ESPN app. But, boy, I’m impressed. Chicago got all five starters, including Coby White, in double figures and dropped 132 points on the defending champs. They shot 50.5 percent from the field, sank 15 3-pointers, and outscored the Warriors 31-19 in the TOV department largely thanks to 12 steals.

Even better, Nikola Vucevic led the way. The big man dropped 43 points on 18-31(!) shooting from the field. Add in 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals … and it appears to be one of the best all-around performances by a Bulls player this season.

Of course, you can correct me if I’m wrong! I’ll also give you some way more detailed thoughts after I have a chance to sit down and fully digest this game. But, yeah, that’s a freakin’ impressive performance in a pretty big freakin’ win.

We’ll talk more later. I hope you’re having a great weekend, and I hope you’re ready for some hoops in Paris!

Check out the full box score here.
