Jorge Soler has three homers on his brief Major League career, and he hit two of ’em last night. So far, Soler doesn’t hit cheapies.

The first one was crushed to dead center, which makes me search for a way to describe the second one that is slightly stronger than “crushed.” Blasted? Hammered? Exploded? Solered?
The first homer went 420 feet, according to ESPN, and the second went 438 feet. That’s 858 total feet of homers last night for Soler, who is now hitting .636/.667/1.545 through three games. Some small sample size fun:
Arismendy Alcantara also homered to deep center last night (422 feet), and you can watch that one here. Javier Baez hit a game-tying double, which you can watch here. Hooray for cookies!
