Chicago Cubs Lineup: The Regular Group to Face a Lefty
Yesterday’s atypical lineup did the job against Francisco Liriano, and the more regular crew will try to do the job tonight against Jon Niese.

- Jon Lester, P
The Cubs luck into facing a lefty on a Jon Lester scheduled day, which means they automatically get another righty bat in there in the form of David Ross. (You Willson Contreras hopefuls should tentatively look for him to make his first start tomorrow night, with Kyle Hendricks on the mound.)
Kris Bryant is back in there after getting yesterday off, partly because he was feeling under the weather, but also I’m sure partly because it’s just good to get guys rest when you can. Ditto for Jason Heyward, who was off yesterday, but is back in there tonight.
