Anthony Rizzo Opens Today’s Game with a Three-Run, Inside-the-Park Homer (VIDEO)
How do you top The Kris Bryant Game and The Outta Left Field Game?
Well, I’m not sure you can top them, but one way to get started is to have Anthony Rizzo hit a three-run, inside-the-park home run three batters into the game:
The joy here is muted, because that was a scary scene in the outfield, which is common with inside-the-park homers (as Cubs fans know all too well). Hopefully he’ll be all right.
Even if it’s harder to enjoy the moment, it is still a pretty crazy start to the third game in what’s already been a crazy series. Everything happens in Cincinnati …
