In his first plate appearance at Fenway Park, Kris Bryant did what Kris Bryant does: he sent a towering home run over the Green Monster in left field.
The homer also happened to extend Bryant’s current hit streak to nine games and continued a scorching hot streak of hitting.

That was a 449-foot shot that went out at 106.8mph. Absolutely crushed. According to Carrie Muskat on Twitter, that homer was the fifth longest home run hit at Fenway during the Statcast era. Wow.
That homer was Bryant’s third of the season, and brought his 2017 slash line up to .291/.392/.488.
Here’s another look at the home run from the stands:

Love it. During his nine-game hitting streak, Bryant has recorded fourteen hits, three doubles and a homer. He is red hot at the plate, and is just beginning to hit his stride.
Have another year, MVP.
