Tonight, the Houston Astros have a chance to make franchise history with their first World Series title – all they have to do is beat a 37-year-old Rich Hill and his big, looping curveball.
But they’ll also have to do it in Los Angeles and against a dangerous Dodger lineup. If they lose, there’ll be a Game 7, but my bet is if it gets to that, the Dodgers take it home.
With that said, Justin Verlander is on the mound for the Astros tonight, and he’s been pretty great this postseason (2.05 ERA in 30.2 IP). This has been a crazy World Series from start to finish, and I’m not expecting anything less tonight.
