Yesterday, the Cubs split their split-squad contests against the Indians, losing the first game 1-5 and winning the second game 11-4 (that one featured a trio of homers from Addison Russell, Jacob Hannemann, and Mark Zagunis).
Which means we’ll get the rubber match later today (3:05 CT), when the two 2016 World Series participants will face off as split squads for the third time. Right-hander Stephen Fife will start the game for the Indians, and lefty Rob Zastryzny will get the nod from the Cubs.
That game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago and on 670 The Score. Or, if you’re like Brett and live in Ohio, you might be able to catch this one televised on SportsTime Ohio this afternoon.
