Javy Baez made his big league debut four years ago in Colorado, hitting an extra-innings homer to right center to win the game for the Cubs. It was incredible.
Tonight, it wasn’t in extra innings and Baez is far from an adjusting rookie, but it looked nearly identical when Baez shot one to right center in the first inning for a two-run homer:

I like his swing a little better now, but those looked so similar it’s almost uncanny.
Baez continues his absurdly hot start to the season, which earlier today got him a comparison to Manny Ramirez (who would gladly send one out the opposite way, too).
