Anthony Rizzo Just Ripped His Fifth Homer Already This Month (VIDEO)
The Cubs got off to another hot start today against the White Sox, scoring four in the first inning, capped by a two-out RBI single by David Bote.
The big blow was yet ANOTHER Anthony Rizzo homer – his fifth in the month of May already. Here’s the shot:

That was 106.6 mph off the bat on a low, low line drive rocket homer to left center. Coming off of Rizzo’s bat, that’s a fun one, because he doesn’t hit that kind of homer too often. James Shields’ reaction was lovely.
For a guy whose results were among the worst in all of baseball just a week ago, it’s pretty incredible to see that Rizzo is now hitting .220/.301/.404 with a 93 wRC+.
