I won’t jinx the outcome of the game here, because crazy stuff happens in this series. I’ll just say the top of the fifth was quite a relief.
With two runners on to open the inning, the Cubs threatened to squander yet another opportunity to put up some runs in this series. But actually-very-good-hitter Jason Heyward came through with a two-out, two-run double:

After Javy Baez singled to score another two-out run, Anthony Rizzo capped things off with a bomb:

You know Great American Ballpark is a bandbox when you watch that blast go way up in the seats, and then I tell you it was “only” 401 feet.
Whew. Cubs needed that. Now keep it going, and stop giving up homers to opposing pitchers.
