Just a little pre-game video fun from the game last night, featuring Javy Baez.
In the third, a hard shot to the right side bounces off of a diving Victor Caratini, but Baez stays with it and makes the longer-throw-than-usual to a running target:

That’s just a solid play. Stay on the ball throughout the play, be ready, and finish the play. Solid.
Also a solid play? Baez’s turn on a double play started by Quintana later in the game. Again, it’s not a flashy, incredible play – it just looks really cool.
… and that’s especially the case, because the Cubs got the clip in 4-D!!! I think the fourth dimension is Mago:

I presume this is a hint at us getting more of these types of videos (I’ve seen them on dingers out of Korea, and they look awesome), and I saw in a PR announcement about the Home Run Derby that we should be getting these videos from that event, too.
So, get ready for some circle-around-4-D goodness of Baez and Kyle Schwarber ripping monster dongs!
