In the Year of Our Lord 2018, this is a complaint that still exists. Cheers:
Thirty-six active players crammed into the walk-in closet that is the visitors’ clubhouse at Wrigley Field is quite a sight. Josh Hader was an NL All-Star, but based on service time he’s sharing a locker with Taylor Williams. Peralta/Burnes and Nottingham/Woodruff, too.

OK, so yes, obviously the Wrigley Field visitor’s clubhouse is a joke. We all know it. The Cubs know it. If you have seen it, you know that there are far nicer high school baseball clubhouses out there. Such is life in a historic ballpark. But it is currently under renovation, and the visitor’s clubhouse will be addressed this coming offseason. We will have to enjoy these gripes while we still can – and for this brief period of overlap when the Cubs’ clubhouse is one of the nicest in baseball.
For tonight, let’s hope the Brewers are just a little more uncomfortable than usual.
