Spring Training Miscellany: Cubs Fall in a Wild One, Rizzo Goes Way Deep, and More

Thanks perhaps in large part to absurd winds today in Mesa, the Cubs and A’s played a bizarre one that yielded 23 runs on 28 hits and 3 errors. The Cubs did not win and Jon Lester gave up a buttload of runs, but it probably doesn’t mean too much.

Steve Cishek had a good, clean inning, and Brad Brach allowed only an unearned run in his inning of work.
