As is often the case with a particularly enjoyable win, I kept coming across visuals from the game that I wanted to share – just because they are fun. Eventually, it got to the point where I thought it would be nice to just lay ’em all out here for you.
So, the Cubs beat the Cardinals 6-5 after trailing 5-1, and the comeback was primarily built on the strength of two incredible homers: Taylor Davis’s first career homer, which was a grand freaking slam, and Javy Baez’s 8th inning shot to break the tie.
