You likely mostly remember the Willson Contreras walk-off bomb you just saw, and maybe also all the excruciating missed chances for the Cubs that came before it. “Better late than never, sh*t,” as Jason Heyward might say.
Huge love for the entire bullpen, in addition to Hamels, but especially to Tyler Chatwood, who threw four scoreless to finish this game off. Good thing Contreras went deep when he did, because it was about to be a very uncomfortable time for decisions, with Chatwood nearly maxed out and no other pitchers left!
